In May and June of 2012 I walked 620 miles or 1000 kilometers in France and Spain on the Camino de Santiago de Compostela - the way of St. James. This is my journey. Your comments are welcome. My journey continues now long after my return from Spain. It is important that life becomes a journey, and that it provides ways to enjoy and experience new beginnings.

It took a few years past the time of my pilgrimage but I have begun to see the essential value of such exploration and removal from the typical that walking an ancient way provides. I am back at work. It took another 1 1/2 years to weed through all the ideas I had about what I "should" do. But when I decided and determined my direction I had yet to fight to find my place. It wasn't until summer 2014 that I found an opportunity. Then it didn't seem that opportunity would open its doors to me. Patience, and later in the summer it did. I moved to Montana, took a job that became,by gradual degrees, exactly what I hoped to find.
